Yifan Shi

Welcome to my website! 

My name is Yifan (Jerry) Shi. I am a PhD candidate in the Economics Department at Columbia University on the 2025-26 job market. My research interests lie at the intersection of empirical corporate finance, public finance and asset pricing, with a particular focus on understanding the factors that influence corporate governance and decision-making, as well as their economic and financial implications.

Prior, I earned my bachelor's degree from Columbia University too, where I double-majored in Mathematics-Statistics and Financial Economics.
